Who Are We?
We are participants of the Southern Wind Zen Group of Argentina, a lay community of Zen practitioners who
belong to the network of the Diamond Sangha, an international Zen Buddhist association founded by Robert Aitken Roshi in 1959. Our spiritual director is Daniel Terragno Roshi.
We come together from different backgrounds and occupations and we meet with the intention of sharing a path of awakening and compassion. This path is summed
up in the ideal of the Bodhisattva
- Realize one’s own true nature
- Let go of greed, hatred, and ignorance
- Let go of suffering
- Liberate all beings
The Maitreya Foundation is a not-for-profit organization which develops activities, projects, and publications that promote a culture of awakening and compassion.
La Fundación Maitreya es la entidad sin fines de lucro desde donde desarrollamos actividades, proyectos y publicaciones que promuevan una cultura del despertar y la compasión.
